Seriously...?

I am still flittering around, eating sugar and finding excuses to not get a plan. Tonight, I at a pint of ice cream but that was not enough sugar for me. I had no other sugar in the house, so I got creative! I remembered that a friend had given my daughter a pumpkin filled with Halloween candy and it was rattling around in the back of my car in a tote bag. I got up from my cozy home and went to the garage to find this pumpkin, not even knowing what I would find. I brought it in and cracked it open. I don't really even like these candies, other than the chocolate. I ate several Starbursts and went nuts from there. If I ever start to wonder if I have a sugar addiction problem, I hope one of you will remind me about this ridiculous post.

Eh - I am laughing because I have kind of been doing the same thing. Not so much with sugar, but with all other junky food you can imagine. It's the "eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow you may diet" binge.

And now I feel sufficiently crappy to be able to give it up. LOL

LOL, I remembering doing crap like that to myself. Good times, or er not.

If you have to scare yourself straight then that is what you have to do. But getting the sugar crack monkey off your back sooner rather than later might be a good idea. ;)

I'm right there with you. I kinda lost it when I saw bags of Hershey's Kiss in all kinds of different varieties for 88 cents a bag!! But I'm getting back on track in the morning. I plan to. I need to. I have to. I will!

Oh, girlfriend. I have so been there, binging on the crap as well as the "totally worth it" stuff.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but Jenny Ruhl (my favorite diabetes blogger) posted about an offer for a free Accu-check blood glucose meter and 60 free test strips going on currently here.
I know that, for me, my blood glucose meter has kept me on the straight-and-narrow better than any scale.

I can so relate to that. You CAN overcome this. You have before and you will again. I'm looking forward to hearing about your victories. :)
